On Saturday, October 19, Grimace burst through the doors of McDonald’s in Sheparton North and South, stopping by to promote his Grimace meal and meet the diners.
In the lead-up to McHappy Day on Saturday, November 16, fans of the friendly giant can purchase limited edition Grimace merch, with all proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
The limited edition merch is in collaboration with McNugget Buddies, with fans able to get their hands on Grimace Fold-Down Silly Socks, McNugget Buddies Fold-Down Silly Socks and a reversible bucket hat featuring both Grimace and McNugget buddies.
McDonald’s Australia licensee Tully Lister said he was happy to bring her purple friend to Shepparton for the good cause.
“Every year, we’re blown away by the kindness of our customers in the Shepparton community who give generously and show their support for seriously ill or injured children and their families,” he said.
“We can’t wait to paint the town with Grimace and McNugget Buddies fans across Shepparton, while helping raise funds for a cause very close to our hearts.”
