On Sunday, November 10, the brigade members hosted an open day to promote fire safety and strengthen community connections.
Attendees were able to tap into the knowledgeable heads stationed in Kialla through a mobile education unit and designated stalls offering information on topics such as smoke alarm regulations and fire safety kits.
Meanwhile, the entertainment offered for families, including a visit from CFA’s Captain Koala, sparked children’s excitement.
News photographer Rechelle Zammit was behind the lens for the event.
