The trainer who has bases in Bendigo, Echuca and Tongala took out the coveted Tocumwal Gold Cup with Mayan.
Foster also claimed wins in race one and a third in race three.
The cup win brings winning for the eight year-old bay gelding to just over $200,000.
Drawing barrier nine and with Josh Richards on board, the Nicconi/Crown Agnes gelding crossed the 1300m finish line in front of Play on Words in second and Imposing Tallulah in third.
Race favourite Kahawaty finished up in sixth.
The cup was one of six races run on the day, and the great array of entertainment and amazing Easter Saturday weather attracted a massive crowd through the gates.
Gaining as much of a crowd as the day’s feature race was the popular Fashions on the Field.
Classic race fashions were popular among many, with Easter themes coming through for the younger entrants in particular.
Some took full advantage of the warmer weather, with traditional men’s suits making way for relaxed races fashions like shorts and a button-up top.
Hats were also a popular choice, particularly with the new hat category in Fashions on the Field.
Visitors to Tocumwal dominated in Fashions on the Field, with Jackie Murray from Albury winning the coveted Lady of the Day and Melbourne’s Wayne Pearn collecting Gent of the Day.
For Hat of the Day, young racegoer Jimmy Smith from Torquay won the men’s prize, while Kathryn Darveniza from Tatura claimed the women’s prize.
In the Tiny Tots, Maggie Boglis from Greensborough and Spencer Woods from Kilmore won the female and male awards respectively.
The male and female Young Track Star prizes, for the slightly older children, went to Flynn Darveniza from Tatura and Maya Leith from Richmond.
