The old schoolhouse provided a place to gather for the thriving little community for many years until the building could no longer be used.At the time of closing, the Wyuna East Community Centre gave the Wyuna History Group some funds to produce a display recording the history, life and families of Wyuna East and its school. After a number of years of consultation with past residents, the historical society has collated all the information and photos and had it printed and installed in the Wyuna Memorial Hall.
On Sunday, November 10, there will be an unveiling at 2pm, with afternoon tea to follow. All welcome — please RSVP for catering purposes to Cath Pell on 0427 594 215.
