Hosted by the Corowa & District Car Club This event promises a day full of classic cars, stunning motorcycles, and family-friendly fun, making it a must-attend for automotive enthusiasts and the community alike.
Car and bike enthusiasts from across the region are invited to showcase their prized vehicles, with a total of 45 trophies up for grabs. This includes the coveted People’s Choice Award.
The event will feature live music, delicious food, and coffee stalls to keep attendees entertained and refreshed throughout the day. Best of all, admission for the public is free, making it a fantastic outing for the entire family.
“This year, we are honoured to host the Holden HX Yellow Panel Van, known as ‘Bumblebee’, which will be promoting the fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND),” Corowa & District Car Club’s Brad Moore said.
The vehicle is part of the "Bumblebee for MND" campaign, raising awareness and funds for FightMND.
“The Corowa & District Car Club is proud to support this cause and encourages all attendees to check out this iconic van,” Mr Moore said.
Local community groups will be providing a variety of catering options, including BBQ, fast food, drinks, and coffee vans. Additionally, emergency services, including the Fire Brigade, Corowa Rescue Squad, and the Police Highway Patrol, will be in attendance.
Adding to the excitement, local Town Crier Roy Monte will be on hand to highlight activities throughout the day. He will also be promoting the event down Sanger Street on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
