Friday
Walk of Witness
Join local churches in Echuca for an informative and social walk based on the 14 Stations of the Cross, followed by a morning tea with hot cross buns.
When: 10.30am to 11.30am.
Where: Walk begins at Echuca-Moama Uniting Church, 115-117 Hare St.
Lockington Easter egg hunt
A community Easter egg hunt will be held in Lockington to help raise money for the Good Friday Appeal. There will also be a morning tea available for purchase and other games and activities. Cost is $10.

Rich River Golf Club scavenger hunt
Rich River Golf Club’s Easter scavenger hunt includes a visit from special guests Batman and Robin and plenty of prizes to be won.
When: 5pm.

Good Friday in the Park
Kyabram’s churches are uniting for the annual Good Friday in the Park event in the memorial gardens, featuring a unique artistic element. During the service, starting from 10am, Kyabram P-12 chaplain David Czech will create a live mural.

Good Friday Discovery Day
Echuca Racing Club is hosting the Victorian Racing Club’s bet365 Good Friday Discovery Day. As well as eight races on the track, ERC has many off-track activities for families and attendees of all ages, including free kids activities from Kelly Sports and It’s Party Time, an Easter egg hunt and live music from local artists such as Sam and Sam, Darcy Ramage and Georgina Bush. Five dollars from tickets will go to the Royal Children’s Hospital. More details in sport.

Saturday
Mathoura Easter Fair
The annual Mathoura fair is on again with plenty of activities for families to enjoy, including tug of war, Easter egg hunts, fair games, market stalls and much more.
When: 8.30am to noon
Where: Soldiers’ Memorial Garden, Mathoura
Port of Echuca
Visitors can enjoy all the regular activities the port has to offer and workshops by Jenni Croft and friends will continue to run. Turtles Australia, Bohollow Wildlife Shelter and Landcare Australia will set up stalls in the pop-up park. The Moama Historical Vehicle Club and Echuca Vintage Machinery Club will also have displays running on the day. Live music will kick off from 1pm at the Echuca wharf.

Rushworth Easter Heritage Festival
Rushworth Easter Heritage Festival is one of the largest events in Rushworth’s annual calendar, and is a celebration of the town’s proud and long history. Vintage steam engines run by the Rushworth Machinery Preservation Inc are a mainstay of the event, and you will also enjoy the market stall, children’s entertainment and live music.

Easter in Rochester
Rochester Business Network has a weekend of fun planned for over the Easter long weekend. Wirima in Rotary Park will be set up with activities for the kids. There will be an Easter egg hunt, face painting and a visit from the Easter bunny.

Moulamein Easter Fair and yabby races
Moulamein Preschool’s annual fair and yabby races in conjunction with the Moulamein Men’s Shed. Family fun, kids activities and market stalls.

Elmore Easter Market
Elmore Progress Association’s Easter market is on again. Head along and wander the market, with more than 20 stallholders sharing their wares.

Sunday
Cohuna Farmers’ and Makers’ Market
Discover great food, crafts, fresh produce, preserves, plants, and much more at the annual Easter market in Cohuna.
When: 9am to 1pm.
Where: Garden Park, Cohuna.
Port of Echuca
The Easter Bunny will be at the Port early in the morning to give out Easter eggs. There will also be pony rides, live music and food available throughout the day. The day will close with the annual fireworks display.

Moora Draught Horses Muster
The Moora Draught Horses Muster is a huge event including draught horses, donkeys, stalls and demonstrations of historic working practices. Attendees will be anything but bored, with attractions and events such as live demonstrations, long-rein events, sheepdog trials, sheep shearing, jumping mules on lead and much more.

Movie night
A family movie night will be held at Rochester silos. Settle back and enjoy the 2023 musical-fantasy film Wonka.
