A family-friendly event with something for everyone, Easter in the Park will cater for the kids, with LEGO building, face painting and plenty of other activities and games around the gardens.
“Easter in the Park is a free family event hosted by Deniliquin Baptist Church,” Deniliquin Baptist Church Pastor Chris Taylor said.
“It’s an event we put on for the Deniliquin community to give something back to the town.”
Baptist Church outreach worker Penny Fowler said it makes the event worthwhile to see families come down and have fun together.
“We are always encouraged by how many people come out supporting what we are doing.”
As usual, there will be a church service that will include a kid’s story, live music and a brief message about the peace we can experience in Jesus.
“Easter is a celebration of the central message of the Christian faith for believers around the world; that Jesus not only died, but also rose again to life,” Pastor Taylor said.
“And because of that, real and lasting peace can be found.
“The service starts at 10.30am and everyone is welcome to attend this part of the event.”
Another exciting element of the Easter in the Park is the giant Easter egg hunt.
Easter in the Park event is free to attend.
