The health service said it was grateful for monetary and in-kind donations, provided by a range of businesses and organisations in the region.
ERH chief executive Robyn Lindsay thanked these donors for their support, highlighting fundraising initiatives and particularly significant donations.
“We are extremely grateful for the donations that we’ve received throughout the year,” she said.
“You’ve helped us raise precious funds ... by the way of car shows, raffles, morning and afternoon teas, bike rides of the pushy and postie bike varieties, tomato picks, scheduled regular donations, gift-wrapping services, Santa photos, sports club events, Go Pink the Tradies Supporting the Ladies events, a land auction, donations that were made specifically for equipment, donations that were made to our mental health and wellbeing fundraiser.
“We’ve also received some really generous bequests and memorial donations during the year, which we’re always extremely grateful for.”
The impact of these contributions was recognised by ERH senior vice chairperson and treasurer Scott Webb.
This includes the creation of a rehabilitation garden space, purchase of palliative care equipment and further training of staff.
“These donations make a real difference and a real impact in our community and in our hospital,” he said.
“I know the whole organisation appreciates it and the difference that it does make to us.”
