“It's been a fantastic time,” he said.

“The weather’s been kind to us but whilst it’s been a little bit cooler than predicted, but really good outcomes and everyone’s had a fantastic time.”

Mr Tanner’s sentiments have been echoed by Berrigan Mayor Julia Cornwell McKean.

“It's been such a tremendous success for both our councils and also for the athletes,” she said.
