With more than 160 developed blocks of land settling this year, more homes are starting to pop up on the development.
More than 400 residential blocks have been sold at Glanmire Park within the first 11 stages, but with limited blocks left, stage 12 will soon be released, and more stages are programmed during 2024.
“We have been very excited to see many new homes under construction with numerous local homeowners among them,” project manager and part owner of the Glanmire Park Mark Russell said.
“Our main focus at the moment is developing the infrastructure and landscaping around the development which can now be also seen from the highway.
“We are spending around $10 million in developing this infrastructure, which will next year eventually see the connection to the highway and the completion of the drainage network linking into Botts Rd and through to the lake.”
Mr Russell said the residential stages at Glanmire Park are moving along in construction, and the integrated mixed-use element of the development continues to progress, with groups expressing interest for a variety of social and community infrastructure uses on parts of the Murray Valley Highway frontage of the estate.
“This is very exciting for the community,” Mr Russell said.
Mr Russell said there is more interest in other parts of this mixed-use precinct and hopes to announce more exciting news in 2024.
The development will also have a new over 50s lifestyle village commenced soon by AVA Communities, known as Glanmire Living, and will include 200 plus residential homes and a community centre.
“There is a lot of work going on in the background.”
Mr Russell said being a part of the community was important to Glanmire Park, and they have been working closer with the Yarrawonga Mulwala Tourism and Business board to assist in events such as the EC Griffith Cup boat races in April along with contributing to the Yarrawonga Mulwala Basketball Association and the ongoing development of the new sports stadium.
“We would like to see Yarrawonga Mulwala benefit more from these significant events and possibly more like them.
“We see that the tourism organisation is a pivotal part of this, and we are happy to support them in their endeavours to continue and create more events.”
