Sno was presented with the honour by club manager Sharen Walmsley, with family, friends and club members acknowledging his outstanding service to the club.
Sno was first elected to the board of the Finley RSC in 2006 and subsequently became president in 2010, a position he still holds.
Known for his deep connection to the community, Sno has been instrumental in the club's operations, frequently undertaking countless trips to pick up goods and supplies, ensuring the smooth running of the club's activities and events.
It’s not unusual for him to drive hundreds of kilometres to pick up seafood for the Easter raffle or be here to assist with the Anzac Day gunfire breakfast.
His willingness to assist in numerous areas is very much appreciated by all, whether travelling to conferences as a well-recognised ambassador or making welcome the many visitors to our town enabling them to enjoy the club’s hospitality.
His leadership and hands-on involvement have significantly enhanced the club's presence and services in Finley.
The award of Life Membership underscores Sno's long-standing dedication and the high regard in which he is held by fellow members and the broader community.
This honour is a testament to his ongoing commitment to fostering a vibrant and supportive environment at the Finley RS Club.
Sno is to be congratulated on a well-earned award.
