Margaret is the eldest daughter of Lewis and Anne Nagle and began her journey at the family farm “Narbethong" and attended Savernake Public school.
Margaret, who now resides in Bungendore NSW, has extensive experience in varied regional and remote health including the Emergency Nursing Service and Royal Flying Doctor Service in remote Western Australia.
Her service to the community through her long association with Rotary was recognised by being an awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship. She was also a District Assistant Governor, District 9790 from 2014-2015 and past president of the Rotary Club of Appin Park, Wangaratta.
Margaret is currently Chief Executive of the Southern New South Wales Local Health District, a role she has filled since 2020. She was the inaugural General Manager, Coffs Harbour Health Campus and Coffs-Clarence Network, (then) North Coast Area Health Service from 2005-2010.
Before that Margaret was Chief Executive Officer of Northeast Health, Wangaratta from 2010-2019 and was a board member of the Victorian Healthcare Association from 2017-2019.
She was also a past member of the Rural and Regional Advisory Committee, (then) Department of Health and Human Services.
Margaret was also a past board member of Merriwa Industries and a mentor for Wangaratta Women in Leadership Group.
