It’s not very often the words toilet paper and meals are put together in the same sentence but thanks to the generosity of Woolworths and the Nathalia Caravan Park, each MHA Care Meals on Wheels client has received a four-roll pack of toilet paper.
“It’s ironic, but we love that it puts a smile on our client’s faces during this time,” MHA Care CEO Michael Hogan said.
“We have also had a donation of toilet paper from the Yarrawonga Mulwala Tourist Information Centre which has been allocated to Moira FoodShare for those in need.
“A huge thanks also to the following local businesses for their generosity in supporting Moira FoodShare to look after our more vulnerable citizens and those individuals and families that have been impacted in these challenging times:
“Cobram RACV Caravan Park – $930 in food vouchers, Sporties Barooga – $2500 in Easter eggs and $1500 in food, Club Mulwala – $3000 in food, J&C Macheta – fresh Fruit, Kelly Brothers – fresh vegetables and Mon Sauces Cobram – sauces and tomato paste, Woolworths Cobram, Artisan Bakery Cobram and Yarra Bakery – Bread.
“Also, thanks to superstars from the Yarrawonga Community Op shop and Lynne and Jeannette for doing the hard yakka at the Moira FoodShare shop front in Yarrawonga.
“Keep smiling everyone, there is a lot of good going on in our community!”
