Husband and wife doctors and owners of the Mulwala Medical Centre + Skin Clinic, Dr Ayon Guha and Dr Wen Guha look forward to bringing innovative GP services and equipment and skin solutions to the region.
Located at Shop 4, 95-103 Melbourne Street, the brand new medical centre and skin clinic is an expansion of the Yarrawonga Medical Clinic. The Mulwala clinic was officially opened by State Member for Albury Justin Clancy.
"Beautiful skin starts with a healthy mind and body," said Dr Ayon Guha. "Our goal is to provide professional care that the community can rely on to achieve healthy skin and exceptional healthcare."
The Mulwala Medical Centre + Skin Clinic is an all-inclusive and community-inspired GP + Skin Clinic. The skin services include laser skin treatments, IPL hair removal, skin microneedling, facial skin analysis, LED light therapy and body contouring.
The clinic is staffed with highly trained doctors and skin specialists who use advanced technology, medical-grade skin products and innovative equipment to deliver lasting results.
"We believe in treating all skin types and providing the best possible care to achieve lasting results," added Dr Wen Guha.
"We work with our clients to tailor an approach unique to their needs, and our experienced team has the expertise to help them achieve healthy skin."
In addition to skin services, the clinic also offers comprehensive healthcare services under one roof.
Mr Clancy thanked members of the community for wanting to see a medical clinic in Mulwala and said it was an exciting day for the town.
“It’s been a long time coming for Mulwala,” he said.
“To you, Dr Ayon and your team, this is just wonderful to see.
“You have not only provided a team but there is significant investment in equipment. You wanted to make sure regional Australia will not miss out.”
The Member for Albury emphasised the significance of people’s health and marvelled at Dr Ayon’s plan to visit people in their homes who cannot make to the clinic – like years ago - and also a focus on chronic disease.
Open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, the community will benefit from a range of in-house GP services such as chronic disease management, health advice, weight loss management, childhood and adult vaccination, comprehensive cradle to grave GP services, skin cancer checks, lesion removal and cryotherapy.
The clinic's mission is to provide professional holistic health care that the community can rely on, and its vision is to achieve exceptional healthcare and beautiful skin.
Drs Ayon and Wen Guha are excited to offer “a more localised, inclusive, and welcoming experience to the community".
They want their patients to feel at ease when treating their general health and skin concerns and to look and feel good.
“We hope to help our patients to be the best they can be in their health and wellbeing,” Dr Ayon Guha said. “We are a professional team that the community can rely on."
