A 72-year-old Mulwala man has been caught driving while disqualified, three times.
He was stopped by police driving two different vehicles, a red Chrysler and a white SUV, in Mulwala between March 12 and March 29.
Each time he was granted conditional bail and will appear in Corowa Court on May 29.
Car stolen in Mulwala
A 2008, grey Ford sedan was stolen from outside a residence in Corowa Road, Mulwala sometime between the hours of 8.20pm on Thursday, March 13 and 5.45am on Friday, March 14.
The vehicle was recovered in Shepparton on the night of March 14. Anyone with any information about the theft is asked to contact Mulwala Police Station on 5743 8099.
Mulwala Police Sergeant Gary Lewis said it was a timely reminder for people to ensure their vehicles are locked and do not have items in their vehicles on display for possible theft.
Drink driving charge
A 23-year-old man from Dingley Village in Melbourne will appear before Corowa Local Court on April 1 after he was nabbed driving under the influence of alcohol.
Mulwala Police stopped the driver, in a silver Holden sedan at about 10.20pm on Saturday, March 15 in Melbourne Street Mulwala.
Alleged assault
Mulwala Police are investigating an alleged assault at Mulwala Water Ski Club at about 10.25pm on Saturday, March 8.
Police are seeking community assistance where it is alleged several patrons were assaulted by a man.
