The hall has undergone extensive renovations and repairs over the past few years and is now back to being a first-class function centre.
The facilities have been used for a variety of reasons including Catholic church services in the early years, weddings, dances, dramatic performances and many more.
The SOA management committee would like to hear from community members about their experiences with the hall and maybe even some stories told by grandparents over time.
Further information can be obtained by contacting the secretary Jan Gray, on 0429 619 957.

All funds raised by the Finley branch stay in the local community to help those going through their journey with cancer and their carers and families.

Members of Finley Lions Club have been working hard preparing for the wood raffle which will recommence this Saturday.
A working bee was held recently with a wonderful response, resulting in several loads of wood ready to be won.
This is one of the major sources of income for the Lions Club who give so generously to the community.
The ticket sellers are always ready to have a chat, so stop and take the opportunity to win some wood before the onset of winter.

‘Unlocking Hope No. 7 – Understanding Dementia’, a presentation which will provide carers with guidance on using practical and essential First Aid techniques for older people, will take place on Thursday, May 9 at the Finley RS Club at 10.15am for a 10.30am start.
These presentations have been put together by the Berrigan Shire Dementia Alliance and have proved very popular for older people and their carers, providing information on all aspects of caring for loved ones in the later years of life.
Alison Luelf, a highly qualified nurse, is the guest speaker and will share her experiences and is always happy to answer questions.
Residents of Barooga, Berrigan, Tocumwal, Finley and surrounding centres including Cobram, Jerilderie and Deniliquin are warmly welcome to attend.
An RSVP to 5883 9600 would be appreciated but is not essential. Together, we can make a difference!
