“Having to make the decision to close after ten years of hard work and investment was very disappointing,” Bruce Pigdon said.
“We acknowledge and understand many of our loyal customers will, likewise, be disappointed.”
Mr Pigdon said with the expiration of the current lease and with likely staff retirements the decision to close was reluctantly made.
“Apprentice mechanic, Jordan Cook, will move to the Pigdons Yarrawonga Dealership, and senior technician, Tim Patton, has another position in Corowa,” Mr Pigdon said.
“We especially want to thank our loyal and dedicated staff, past and present, who over the years have provided local Corowa residents with a first-class service.
“In particular we acknowledge Bruce Shelley, General Manager, who has tirelessly devoted his time and energy to serve our Corowa and District customers with distinction.”
Bruce, and Ed Walker, Pigdon’s very capable Sales Manager, can now enjoy a well-earned retirement after their decades of long service to the industry.
