Many Mobs Indigenous Corporation is inviting members of the community to attend a fantastic free cultural festival to be held on the Yarrawonga Foreshore on Saturday, October 12.

The Dunggula Cultural Festival is backed by the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR), and the Helping Regional Communities Prepare for Drought Fund.
The festival line-up of First Nations Cultural singers include: Mitch Tambo, Voice of Lele, The Warrens’, Prodigal-1 and Damien ‘Dookie’ Thorne. The unmissable Indigenous dance groups sharing story-lines and yarning (Marrambidya Dance Group,Gulaga Dancers, Big River Gomeroi, and our own Many Mobs Kawi Dancers).
Moira Shire Council Chair Administrator Dr Graeme Emonson PSM said that it was great to see Many Mobs organising such a great event in Yarrawonga.
“Council is proud to be supporting Many Mobs Indigenous Corp. in delivery of the Dunggula Cultural Festival.
“We look forward to working with Many Mobs into the future on events that encourage listening, learning, and connecting,” Dr Emonson said.
“This event will be a fantastic celebration of Indigenous culture full of dance, performance, art, and food,” event spokesperson Michaela Jane said.

Yarrawonga Health is proud of the partnership that they have established with ManyMobs.
The relationship has grown over the past eight years and now has established strong links for the annual Walk Across the Bridge and monthly Yarn Ups catering support and has even engaged ManyMobs to provide cultural awareness within the aged care residents where they were learning weaving and making coolamons. Yarrawonga Health looks forward to a long strong relationship with ManyMobs in supporting our indigenous community.
The Yarrawonga Mulwala Community Learning Centre is also a proud supporter and sponsor of Many Mobs’ Dunggala Cultural Festival, providing essential transport services for the performers.
This initiative supports ManyMobs in achieving its mission in bringing people together and make connections.
Burkes Hotel is also proud to support Many Mobs with the Dunggula Cultural Festival. Burkes Hotel will provide a free soft drink with every adult dinner meal ordered to festival goers who are wearing or carrying Many Mobs merchandise with them on the Saturday evening.

Other cultural stalls at the festival include Apma Creations, Chic n Co, Vegifix Catering Yarrawonga Bunnings, Rotary, Gallawah Hub, Prickly Lizard, Evangeline Coffee, Treaty for Victoria, and Uncle Eric Brown.
Many Mobs Indigenous Corporation was created in 2016 by Aunty Iris Troutman in her search for mobs to connect with, and the Yarrawonga Health service has assisted since.
In 2019, members grew, and it was decided to create a not-for-profit Indigenous organisation to benefit all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who need a connection to culture.
“Today we have many First Nations and Allies as members, and we work in many spaces across Australia passionately sharing culture,” spokesperson Michaela Jane added.
