Deniliquin 38 defeated by Rennie 46.
A very frustrating game with the girls trying to hold their own against the very physical Deni side. Hannah Shoppee and Brooke Knight played flawlessly in defence and showed just how clean and respectful a defence duo should be.
Brylee McCarty had to hold strong in WA and took many knocks, but came out on top and played well.
Ella Rhodes again worked hard in goals and Sophia Shaw provided strong drives in attack.
Assistant coach Brooke McDougall provided strong defensive pressure all game and helped with many turn overs.
The coaches are very proud of the resilience and discipline. Well done.

Deniliquin 42 defeated Rennie 26.
Rennie took on top of the ladder Deni Rovers on Saturday and did themselves proud.
Only a 3 goal lead for Deni halfway through the second quarter gave the girls some confidence that they were beatable but unfortunately with very experienced players and accurate goalers they took it away.
The girls have shown major potential and remain super competitive against the whole league.
Awards: Showcase Jewellers - Alison Thrumble, Yarra Hotel - Rach Guppy and Mulwala Bakery - Hayley Wilson.

Deniliquin 39 defeated Rennie 21.
The girls had one of their best games this season, coming in only 3 goals down at half time.
The ball flowed down the court and into the ring with the amazing work of both Amys always being there for the pass and Lacey’s unstoppable running.
Lenni always getting her two hands on the ball and into the ring. Sheryl consistently managing to get around the defence to get the pass to get her shot.
Lizzie assisting with shooting and great mid court work. Jazz and Burkey really holding their ground in defence helped to get a few turn overs. A great game and fun had by all.
Awards: Miss Dolly - Melinda Burke, Yarra Hotel - Jasmine Burns, Bundalong Tavern - Amy Webber and Publicans Daughter - Sheryl McBurnie.

Deniliquin 35 defeated Rennie 25.
A disappointing game for the girls this weekend with a lot of decisions and physicality not going Rennie’s way on the court.
The coaches would really like to commend the girls on never dropping their heads, playing skilful and poised netball that allowed for the Hopper girls to showcase why they have been so hard to beat this far into the season.
With speed and determination Deni weren't able to take the ball and run, they had to force their passes into the ring over the Rennie defence who weren't letting up.
And the Hoppers mid court were settled, controlled and made the best decisions to feed into quick footed goalers.
This is the game that the team will use to reflect on in the coming weeks and use as the fire to keep the girls working hard from here on in!

Deniliquin 12 defeated by Rennie 31.
This week the Rennie girls were full of nerves and ready for a tough game coming up against 3rd on the ladder. This week was the defenders game, with Heleena and Lucy working exceptionally together and never giving up.
This teamed up with the back up from the rest of the girls on the court showed everyone how well these girls work not only as individuals but as a team.
What a great win for the girls this week.

Deniliquin 35 defeated Rennie 22.
An incredibly tough game for the girls this week with Deniliquin being top of the ladder and the Rennie girls being second.
It was a great game played by the girls, they worked amazingly together and encouraged one another, making it a good game to watch.
The defenders were on top of the ball 100%, intercepting many balls and keeping on their players, resulting in many turnovers.
The mid court then focused on going to the ball, which was done well.
The shooters once again shot amazingly and worked around the ring beautifully. Great game girls! You should all be very proud.
