Rosa, who is the owner of Helloworld Travel Cobram, is part of a two-woman selling team with Sue Hoban who have won plenty of awards over their years in business with Rosa celebrating 16 years of ownership of the Cobram store in April next year.
“It was nice to be invited. I was privileged to be invited as one of 45 Travel Professionals Australia and New Zealand,” Rosa said.
“I was certainly not expecting it. I don’t sit in the Cobram office thinking that we are only doing this for awards.
“All that were invited to the night were in the mix and there was a great range of people there.
“I am very proud to have come away with an award that is purely for selling staff that looks into the amount of sales for the year with only three of these awards given out.
“It is really a team award for Sue and myself. We also have a fantastic client base which is why we can do what we do.”
The top domestic selling travel agent award is a testament to Rosa’s years of commitment with Cobram fortunate to have one of Australia’s premier travel agents consistently representing the best in the industry.
Rosa who has been in the travel industry for 51 years this coming February and Sue, who has been in the industry for close to 30, have both travelled extensively and say they want to be able to provide people with the easiest and most affordable way to travel to their dream destinations.
“It’s great for us to see the smile on the faces of customers who are enjoying their trip and have not had to have any of the stresses of organising it etc,” Rosa said.
“This industry challenges us and we learn something new every day.
“The internet is great for research but for people to know they can contact us for ease of mind organising, it is greatly beneficial, we do the best we possibly can and we’re not going anywhere.”
