On Saturday, March 2, from 11am-3pm and Sunday, March 3, from 9am-3pm, you can expect to see all the dahlias in full bloom, with stunning floral displays on offer.
There will also be plant sales, meet and greets with expert growers, a barbecue on the Saturday, as well as a raffle with big prizes.
There will also be classes for people to participate in, including a Best Garden Grown Bloom Class and a Junior Class.
Shepparton and District Dahlia Club President Rodney Clarke said the show was one to look forward to.
“We’ll have quite a few flowers there, which we’ll judge, and they’ll be coming from all parts of the state,” he said.
“I’ll be selling quite a few plants as well, with the money going to the Dookie, Devenish and District Good Friday Appeal.”
The annual show has been happening for 19 years, with Mr Clarke president for 18 of them.
He and his wife Shirley are both passionate about dahlias and have helped put on the annual show in many different spaces across Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley.
"It’s just one of those flowers that’s different,” he said.
“They really do stand out in a crowd.”
Head down to the Congupna Community Hall at 3560 Katamatite-Shepparton Main Rd on March 2 and 3 to catch the show.
Entry is $5 for adults, but free for kids.
