Two of the fiercest Test cricketers of all time, champion Australian fast bowler Merv Hughes and arguably England’s best ever all-round cricketer Lord Ian Botham, will meet again, at ClubMulwala this Thursday.
The Legends Night will also feature Australian Test cricketer Wayne Phillips as MC, champion English Test cricketer and off spinner John Emburey and a mystery legend.
“It’s the biggest high profile of talented sports people we could get to share their stories with our members and visitors,” ClubMulwala CEO Alan Rowe said.
“Really, it’s very humbling to have such a line-up.”
Wayne Phillips, the great South Australian batsman and wicketkeeper, will excel as Master of Ceremonies.
A master at luring big names as guest speakers to ClubMulwala, Mr Rowe has done it again.
“We’ve sold over 150 tickets,” he said last Wednesday.
“If you haven’t already, get your ticket and wind back the clock and get along to hear from such sporting legends.”
The big night of excitement begins at 7.30pm.
