Every year, the music loving community travels through Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria, to enjoy Graham’s performances and the great Australian country.
Last Friday night, Graham and company played their heart out at the Terminus Hotel in Yarrawonga.
Graham resigned as a paramedic to pursue a music career in the early 90s, after he became inspired by Australian country music icon, Slim Dusty.
The Tag Along came to life accidentally when planning an interstate music tour, while on vacation at a caravan park in Queensland.
Next door neighbours at the caravan park had invited Deirdre and Graham in for a cup of coffee, which left a lasting impression.

“We were planning a trip where we’d go to little country pubs and perform,” Graham said.
“Our friend looked at the maps and said, ‘why don’t you just make it a tag along?’.
“Word had gone out around the caravan park and before a matter of time, four other caravans had booked.
“We departed for a little town in south-west Queensland to perform and had a really good time.
“When it came time to say goodbye, everyone who joined wanted to know when the next one was. From there, the Tag Along was born.”
Graham and his wife Deirdre have fostered a passionate, die-hard community.
Music enthusiasts across Australia unite in convoy to enjoy Graham’s musical performances around the country.
The performer has a decorated award-winning portfolio of country music, spanning three decades.
Graham’s inspiration for music is matched by his desire to unify people.
“We want people to meet their country cousins through their passion for music,” Graham said.
Tag along member, Mort said the community felt like one big family and was growing stronger all the time.
He said everyone lived in different parts of Australia, so it was very special to remain close to people who lived on the opposite side of the country.
