The lack of volunteers at Tunzafun Amusement Park in Mulwala is Mulwala Progress Association’s main concern at present.
Tunzafun is such a popular tourist attraction for visitors to Yarrawonga and Mulwala, with something for all ages and has barbecue facilities.
But insufficient volunteers is a worry for management. “With the loss of some volunteers, and declining health of some, we are worried that pressure is on the few we have left to keep up their great volunteering work,” Mulwala Progress Association President Robert Purtle OAM said.
“We have a great manager in David King and we have terrific, albeit declining numbers of volunteers. But we need more for our busiest times not far away.”
Even if would-be volunteers can give an hour to three hours a day, once or twice a week, it would be greatly appreciated. Both male and female volunteers would be welcome.
“It would ensure Tunzafun can still operate,” Mr Purtle said. “It’s not just fun for the kids. Volunteers can fill in their time in a great atmosphere overseeing the various rides and seeing plenty of smiles on faces.”
Call in and see team members at Tunzafun. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
