Conducted by Road Safe North East the $100 course begins at 2pm Saturday, June 25 and concludes June 26 on site at a private property set up specifically for this coaching.
The course includes two hours of practical information on bike setup for trail riding and adventure riding, camping with your bike along with GPS and paper mapping information for guidance.
Emergency procedures for when things go wrong in the bush, bike breakdown, flat tyres, drowned bike, injured rider, lost rider etc will also be covered.
There will also be information on “the dos” and “the don’ts” as far as regulations are concerned while out riding in our bush.
The training will also provide general rider skills to practice and improve your riding and to keep you free from injury.
The camping course will include a Saturday night campfire with plenty of riding stories to share.
Sunday morning you get to experience some real time coaching in a real bush environment to practice your new skills, while riding on a private track. The track is set up with logs and all types of elements to test your skills followed by plenty of time to free ride.
A Sunday BBQ lunch is provided with free camping Saturday night available on site.
