A car has crashed into a home in Shepparton while someone was inside.
Emergency services were called to a house in Grammar Park, Shepparton North, after reports a car had crashed into the property at about 3pm on Monday, October 21.
Senior Constable Matt Walker said the driver, a woman in her 50s, failed to stop at the end of the road, resulting in a collision that caused significant structural damage to the house.
Building surveyors from Greater Shepparton City Council were called to the scene to assist police with the damage.
Sen Constable Walker said the woman was the sole occupant of the car and was taken to hospital for observation, while the resident present at the time of the crash sustained no injuries.
A dog was in the vehicle during the accident and ran off when the collision occurred.
The investigation is ongoing.
