Division A1 finished Minor Premiers and lost to Wodonga in the grand final at Wangaratta.

The Business House Fours Tournament concluded on Wednesday evening after a very successful four weeks.
The weather was very kind to us this year, might have been a bit hot at the start of play, then a great evening to play bowls in the cool of the evening.
Twenty-two teams took to the greens, which were running very well thanks to our greens staff and directors.

A lot of work is involved getting this up and running each year, thank you to Col and the match committee, Ian, John and Jude, Ray and Jeff in the bar area, the BBQ workers and all other members who pitched in to make a very successful four weeks.

The 75up Consistency first round was played over the weekend – Eileen Ide defeated Margaret Watson, Maree Lewis defeated Caroline Lewis, Annette Norman defeated Sue Dawson, Ian Lewis defeated Paul Hickey, Graeme McIntosh defeated Brian Shipcott, John Dalgleish defeated Ken Taylor, Steve Rodway defeated Ray Ager, and Shane Rosenow won on a forfeit.
The final of the Mixed Pairs will be played on Wednesday – Paul Hickey and Michele Shields against John Dalgleish and Annette Norman.

Civic Bowls has a very busy time coming up – the trip away will be on Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd of March. The Edinburgh Sheild will take place on Saturday and Sunday April 5 and 6.
The Presentation Night will be on Friday, April 11, followed by the Easter Tournament on Friday-Sunday, April 18-20.
The Ladies Open Fours will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, May 7 and 8.
The AGM is set down for Tuesday, May 13.

Last Sunday’s winners on 16 and 16 (32) were Ian Day, Gwen Mills, and Betty Clancy. The runners-up on 18 and 2 (20) were Bev Barron, Glenda Willett, Merylyn Milthorpe, and Joan Fletcher.
Tuesday social bowls was won by, Chris Hendry, Gloria McCluskey, and Glenda Willett with a score of 3 and 18(21), with Jan Webber, Anne Smith, Peter Manning, and Joan Fletcher on 18 and 2 (20) being the runners-up.
And on Thursday the winners on 15 and 15 (30) were Kerry Whalley, Terry Fletcher, and Glenda Willet, with the runners-up on 16 and 6 (22) being Anne Smith and Dawn Sander.
