Ovens and Murray Pennant saw six of seven teams make finals, the Weekend B2 team were winners of the Grand final at Wangaratta.
The Division One Pennant team finished the season Minor Premiers, only to lose the Grand final against Wodonga.

A great turn out of members attended the presentation evening on Friday night.
A lovely meal started the evening off, many thanks to the ladies for your organising.
The highlight of the evening was the announcement of the club’s player of the year, this honour went to Adam Corcoran who has had a great year on the greens. Congratulations Adam from all the members at Civic.

The Mens’ Triples final was played on Friday morning, between Adam Corcoran, Bruce Corcoran and Ian Lewis against Guy Rowe, Steve Rodway and John Dalgleish, and what a great game it turned out to be.

After five ends Guy was leading 5 to 3.
At the 11t h end Guy’s team were 12 to 5.
Adam and team then went on to win the next six ends, and after 17 th end Adam was leading 13-12, Guy won the next end by 1 shot, the score now being 13 each, another end had to be played to determine the winner, Guy, Steve and John came away with the winning shot.
Congratulations to both teams on a brilliant game.
On Sunday morning the final of the Mens’ Consistency H/Cap 75 up between Guy Rowe and Ian Lewis was played.
Ian was in great form not allowing Guy to get anywhere near the kitty, a good game to watch for the spectators who came out to support both Guy and Ian. Ian came away with a good win.
Social bowls was held on Wednesday with 19 players taking part.
Winners being Ray Ager, Guy Rowe and Sue Dawson, R/up John Dalgleish, Jan Wandel/Webber and Lynne Pyke.
Saturday Social was played in lovely sunny conditions with the winners being Steve Winter (Visitor) Michael Dickins and Brian Hone.
Entries have been coming in regularly for the Easter Tournament.
Entries are up for Good Friday and Easter Saturday and about the same as previous years for the Sunday.
Don’t forget to add your name to the list on the notice board if you wish to play in the Recycle Stubbies Day on Sunday, April 27 commencing at 10.00am.
Entries are still being taken for the Ladies Open Fours Tournament on Wednesday, May 7 and Thursday, May 8 commencing each day at 9.30am.

Sunday’s winners on 16 and 18 (35) were Betty Clancy, Naz Carnivale, and Peter Manning. The runners-up on 4 and 17 (21) were Georgie Agnew, Glenda Willett, and Ellen Buckley.
On Tuesday, the winners on 17 and 16 (33) were Helen Bartel, Ellen Buckley, and Dawn Sander. With the runners-up on 16 and 16 (32) being Georgie Agnew, Merylyn Milthorpe, Gwen Mills, and Gloria McCluskey.
And Thursday’s winners were Peter Manning, Jan Webber, and Gloria McCluskey on 16 and 5 (21). The runners-up on 16 and 4 (20) were Helen Bartel, Gus Sander, and Ellen Buckley.
