A lovely sunny afternoon for social bowls on Wednesday with 24 players taking full advantage of the weather.

Saturday was a very different day, dull and looking like rain, 16 members turned up and were able to get 2 games of pairs played before the rain set in.

On Thursday afternoons from 3.30pm there are drills on the greens to help us with our game, come along you will be most welcome to participate.

Corowa Indoor Carpet Bowls
A tie up again on Sunday with two teams on 17 and 16 (33), but winning on countback were Robyn Brindy, Joan Adams, Gloria McCluskey, and Ian Day.
With the runners up being Betty Clancy, Joe Wilson, Doreen Pleming, and Angela Clapton.
Tuesday’s winners on 16 and 16 (32) were Lesley Crough, Merylyn Milthorpe, and Ellen Buckley. With Joe Wilson, Gwen Mills, and Joe Carnavale as runners-up on 15 and 16 (31).
And the winners on Thursday with 18 and 17 (35) were Betty Clancy, Nez Carnivale, and Georgie Agnew. With the runners-up on 16 and 15 (31) being the team of Lesley Crough, Gloria McCluskey, and Gwen Mills.
Corowa RSL Bowls
Social Bowls Wednesday and Saturday are averaging around eighteen bowlers each competition day.
The club wishes to acknowledge the support of our members who remain in Corowa over the Winter months. These members organise the competitions and the social activities.
We are a club who has many members who travel north and holiday for extended time overseas.

Ideal wintery conditions for bowls.
Eight teams of Triples, and the Winners with +14 are Razz and Jenny Lawrence.
Runners Up, are Anne Summerill and Tim Buggy.
Open Saturday Jackpot June 29
The weather was less than ideal, and twelve bowlers commenced play till the rain ceased play.
However, the jackpot of $130 was won by Jenny Petrie and Jeff Nixon.
All bowlers moved to the warmth and hospitality of Club Corowa.
Corowa High School Inter School Championships July 2-4
Congratulations to bowlers Nate Jones, Levi Phibbs and Cohen Wilcox who will represent Corowa High School in Wollongong.
The boys will be playing at Wariila Bowls Club and will be accompanied by Maree Jones and Dominic Carroll from the RSL Bowls Club.
We wish them good luck.
