Winners were – Ray Agar, Estelle Hollingsworth and John Dalgleish, Runners-up – Peter Howell, Annette Norman and Brian Hone.
Saturday social bowls had to be called off due to the inclement weather.
Corowa Civic player Brian McCarthy, along with fellow member of our club Ned Young as his director, is representing Victoria at the Vision Impaired National Titles at Coomealla Bowls Club in Dareton, NSW this past week. Brian and his partner Tony Scott (along with their directors) have done very well getting to the finals. Brian has also performed very well in the singles.

Winter conditions got the better of the bowlers last week, members only managed one social competition for the week.
Wednesday Social Bowls and "Brunch before Bowls".
Wednesday, July 17, twenty-two bowlers played Triples and Pairs.
We welcomed guests from Heathcote Bowls Club, Denise and Ray Anderson.
Winners with 2W +14 were Ketch, Denise Anderson and Tony Coughlin.
Runners Up, 2 W+11 was Gary Brown, Jenny Petrie and Susie Swift.
Brunch at Club Corowa was enjoyed, and members are thinking of "brunching" on a monthly basis.
Jackpot Bowls Saturday, July 20 was a wash-out, so the Jackpot of $120 carries over till next weekend.
Our members travelled to Oaklands Bowls Cub on Sunday, July 21, to play in the Christmas in July Mixed and Men's Fours Tournament.
Team Stuart McNeill, Andy Dickins, Adam Larkins and Jenny Petrie took out the second prize.
They lost their first game by one shot, won the second game by 17 shots and won the third game by 10 shots.
Our second team of David Lewis, Jeff Nixon, Roly Nixon and Alan Holmquest had two wins and a loss.
All members congratulated Oaklands on their generous country hospitality.
We congratulate Roly Nixon on his 92nd birthday on Saturday, July 20. Not only does Roly play regularly in all weather conditions at our club, but he was also at Oaklands on Sunday.
This year we had seven "54 Boomers" turn seventy years young.
Happy birthday on July 10 to Alan Holmquest.

Sunday saw three more winners in the first round of the Club Singles; Tony Coppolino, Ellen Buckley, and Joe Carnivale. Social Bowls winners in the afternoon on 19 and 15 (34) were Joe Wilson, Peter Manning, and Jan Webber. With the runners-up on 17 and 14 (31) being Joan Fletcher, Nez Carnivale, and Merylyn Milthorpe.
Tuesday’s winners on 16 and 16 (32) were Tony Coppolino, Chris Hendry, and Peter Manning. With the runners-up on 5 and 16 (21) being Joe Wilson, Betty Clancy, and Joe Carnivale.
Thursday morning saw wins for Doreen Pleming in the Minors and Keith Evans in the Club Championship Singles. In the afternoon, two teams were on (21), but Joan Catlin, Peter Manning, and Tony Coppolino won on countback. The runners-up were Nez Carnivale, Jan Webber, and Joe Wilson.
