A huge win in wet conditions against a depleted St Pats.
The Pigeons boys came out firing kicking 5 goals in the first quarter.
Jobe Fraser was outstanding, putting himself in the right spots, using his height and strength to break lines.
Archie Skehan continued his fantastic season, a reflection of the way he trains.
Sam Trembath and Mitch Tyson continually drove the ball forward.
Miller Smith’s tackle and free kick then goal typified the grit the team showed.
It was a day that suited Maxy Loughnan, who tackled fiercely and pushed the ball the Pigeons way.
Special mention to Rhys Driscoll for his last quarter snap for goal. All the boys contributed in a real four quarter effort.

St Pats 5.9.39 def Yarrawonga 5.7.37.
Cold, wet conditions didn’t play in the Pigeons boy’s favour as they took on St Patricks at their home ground on Sunday.
Lach, Ryan and Dylan played a good defensive game while the midfield in Charlie, Nate and Sam fought hard all day.
The forwards in Zac, Mitch and Ryder presented well and tried their best for 4 quarters. Unfortunately the scores didn’t indicate how hard the Pigeons boys played and St Pat’s took the win by a narrow 2 points in the end.
Best: Nate Williams, Ryan Cameron, Charlie Rae, Dylan Nicholson, Darby Mullins and Zac Forge.
The YFNC would like to congratulate Ryder Stevens on his 50 games played for the Yarrawonga junior football club on Sunday, July 17 at St Pats. A great achievement.
Well done and the club look forward to seeing plenty more from Ryder in the coming years.
