The youngest Roo's played North Albury at home on Sunday.
Hopeful of a competitive match, the kids came out with the usual intensity but were matched by their opponents.
North kicked 2-3 to no score in the first term.
The second quarter saw the boys dominate possession in the first ten minutes.
Lucas converted after some great pressure from Finny. Billy H and Ollie were in everything, and Sonny was looking dangerous.
The tide turned in the last few minutes and North were able to slot two late goals, leaving us 23 points behind at the long break.
In the second half, the boys were able to lock the game down and if the visitors were having shots at goal, they were under massive pressure.
Vice-captain Will was his usual self, blanketing the main forward and repelling forward entries. Amelliah was huge and Tyler was ferocious, never letting the ball past him.
Maxwell went into the ruck and did another great job, allowing George to return to defence and assist the backline.
Showing their spirit, the boys ran the game out and won the last quarter.
