Local swimming talent Fraser Nagle was making waves at the 2025 Australian Age and MC Age Swimming Championships in Brisbane last week, proudly representing his new club, St Peters Western, after relocating for school earlier this year.

Fraser qualified for four events, and his hometown supporters from Yarrawonga Mulwala were cheering him on from afar.
Coaches Lyndon Hart and Kevin White travelled to Brisbane to support Fraser at the Championships. Fraser has been clocking some impressive personal bests and turning heads poolside.
In the 100m freestyle heats, Fraser swam a lightning-fast 56.55 seconds, setting a new personal best and placing 36th.
He backed this up in the 50m Backstroke, breaking the 30-second barrier with a swift 29.97 seconds and placing 36th.
One of the standout moments came in the Boys 14 Years 50m Freestyle, where Fraser dropped just over half a second to post a 25.34 in the heats - earning him a spot in the B Final, where he finished with a strong 25.62 seconds and placed 18th.

Fraser continued his streak in the 100m Backstroke, notching another PB with a time of 1:05.51 and finishing 41st.
His efforts extended into team events as well.
Fraser contributed to two relays: in the Boys 14-15 4x50m Freestyle relay, he swam a solid 25.68, helping the team to a 19th place finish; and in the 4x50m Medley Relay, he tackled the breaststroke leg in 33.79 seconds, with the team finishing 25th.
Coach Lyndon praised Fraser’s performance and professionalism, saying, “I’m extremely pleased with how Fraser swam and conducted himself at his first Age Nationals. We’re looking forward to following his journey over the next twelve months.”
