With experienced Jarrod Chapman with 25 not out and Trevor Watts 29 not out, the Flames had Elmore’s score covered in 17.2 overs for the loss of one wicket.
Rushworth’s 103 wasn’t enough to stop BLU who lost only three wickets securing the win.
Kade Dearing and Brett Pateman both with 21 top scored for Rushworth.
Led by Craig Emmett with 42, Stanhope’s score of 152 was enough to get the points against Echuca, dismissed for 135 thanks mainly to Jacob Gillie 4/28 and Wil Harrison 3/33.
Moama chased down Goats’ handy score of 9/176 in the other game in this division.
Tongala came up short against Nondies-Cohuna with Luke Woolan (22 not out) the only batsman to reach double figures in its score of 100.
Nondies had earlier posted 9/132 with Jordan Mathers making 75 of this total.
Girgarre’s score of 5/170 highlighted by 66 from Mitch Fitzgerald was enough to secure a win over Leitchville-Gunbower, out for 122 with Mackenzie Cowley bagging four wickets.
Opener Russ Napier set up a win for Cooma over Rochester with a knock of 71.
C GRADE
Zac Cerrone scored a fine century as Kyabram Fire Brigade piled up 6/332 against Echuca South who could manage only 4/124 in reply.
Cerrone and his opening partner Jack Elliott with 72 produced an opening stand of 216 before Sam Vick chimed in with 60 to boost the Flames’ score over 300.
In the only other game played in this grade Moama lost just two wickets covering Girgarre’s score of 64 in which only John Melhuish with 24 and Charlie Lowe (18) made it to double figures.
D GRADE
Led by opener Matt Schubach with a half century and Lee Westerveld with 48, Kyabram Fire Brigade’s 8/171 was sufficient to keep Stanhope at bay.
Stanhope had earlier made 9/128 with Michael Keegan (26) and Jack Donaldson (23) the top contributors.
Cooma with Leigh Hall making 35 and Brayden Hall (34) posted 138 against Tongala which was enough to give it an 11-run win.
Brent Maloney with 43 and Anthony Newman (23) did best of the Tongala batsmen.
Rushworth was pipped by Echuca in a tight clash.
Peter Francis with a half century and Jac Barrett with 27 enabled Rushworth to post 6/142 with Echuca matching this total with three deliveries to spare.
