Rennie 35 def Tocumwal 16
In a must win final Rennie knew that they had to come out firing. The start was goal for goal with Rennie feeling the nerves at the start.
However the girls settled in and broke away, it was the Hoppers game from there on.
The shooters, Charlotte and Sienna played an incredible game. Having some tall, strong defenders on them they had to work hard in the ring.
Their goals were accurate and they worked together beautifully. Midcourters: Mia, Ruby, Jasi, Layla, Michelle and Mim all played great.
They were put in a variety of different positions and combinations but adjusted perfectly. They worked tirelessly the whole game and bought the ball down the court with ease.
Defenders: Kate, Samantha and Tess had lots of defensive pressure. They had hands over every ball and created lots of turnovers.
In the end Rennie won by 19 and it was a great game.

Rennie 27 def Blighty 11
The Rennie girls worked hard at training all week and it really paid off in the semi-final, coming away with the win against Blighty 27-11.
After a few nerves in the first quarter, the Hoppers settled into their positions and passes and really worked as a team. Maisie and Makayla worked efficiently in goals in the first half, going for rebounds and shooting well.
Ava had strong drives and fed the ball into the ring with ease. The defensive end of Lily, Sienna B and Cydee applied constant pressure resulting in turnovers and moved the ball down the court well.
Isabel in centre directed play and created space in the attacking end. Poppie, Sienna L and Ruby rotated in throughout the game and all girls made an impact immediately once they stepped on the court.
The girls played a brilliant team game and should be very proud of themselves. Now to look forward to the prelim next weekend. Go Hoppers!
