Junior footballers represent regional leagues

AWJFL Under 16 interleague representatives Ryan Cameron, Charlie Rae, Sam Bigger, Ryder Stevens, Zac Forge and Xavier Mitchell.

A number of local junior footballers have taken to the field to represent their respective football leagues over the weekend.

From the Under 16s six Pigeons were selected to pull on the interleague jumper; Ryder Stevens, Xavier Mitchell, Zac Forge, Sam Bigger, Charlie Rae and Ryan Cameron.

AWJFL Under 14 interleague representatives Ollie Tresize, Cooper Clark, Connor McCarty and Joel Comensoli.

From the AWJFL Under14s Pigeons Cooper Clark, Ollie Tresize, Connor McCarty and Joel Comensoli played for the winning AWJFL Red Interleague side.

Byron Dodd, Harry Wren and Aiden Lawless have made it through to the Melbourne round of the Victoria Under 12 Schools State team.

In Under 12s Byron Dodd, Harry Wren and Aiden Lawless have also made it through to the Melbourne round of the Victoria Under 12s State team.

Georgia Thomas, Trinny Preer and MacKenzie Clark were selected to play in the North Eastern Female Football League Under 18s side at Mooroopna on Sunday.

In the North Easter Female Football League locals Georgia Thomas, Trinny Preer and MacKenzie Clarke played in the Under 18s side that finished runners up in a round robin of matches with 20-minute halves against Northern Country Women’s League (GV) and Bendigo and Central Victorian Women’s League last Sunday.
