It was an intense start for the elimination final, 3rd vs 6th.
The girls knew they had a tough match ahead of them and they were not willing to go out without a fight.
The purps had an early lead with many of their players towering over the Lions.
Hollie and Steph shot well with huge pressure over their shots. Tess, Shar and Bre worked well through the middle court, using their speed to their advantage.
The defensive pressure from Tace and Lara across the four quarters was exceptional, winning the third quarter and following with a pretty last quarter.
The Lions just couldn't close the gap anymore. Well done on a fantastic game girls and you certainly have come a long way from the beginning of the season.
Finishing strong gives good hope for season 2023.

Moama 34 defeated Mulwala 23.
An extremely tough game this week against a very strong Moama side. The girls once again adapted to positional changes but weren’t able to come up with a win.
Although the girls were disappointed with the loss, they will all train hard this week ready to take on Deni on the weekend.
