Yarrawonga Mulwala Little Athletics Club member Max Coll recently had the honour of representing Little Athletics Victoria at the prestigious Colgate Games in Hastings, New Zealand.

Competing against some of the best young athletes from across the region, Max delivered incredible performances and showcased his dedication and talent on the international stage.
Max’s results at the Colgate Games were nothing short of inspiring:
- 2nd place in the Under 14 male 4x100m relay
- 3rd place in the Under 14 mixed medley relay (max ran the 800m leg)
- 4th place in the Under 14 male 800m with a personal best
- 6th place in the Under 14 male 1500m
- 7th place in the Under 14 male 400m with another personal best.
These outstanding achievements highlight not only Max’s hard work and determination but also the incredible opportunities Little Athletics provides young athletes.
Little Athletics is more than just sport—it’s about fostering a love for competition, building confidence, and opening doors to life-changing experiences like representing your state or country.
Team Manager for Little Athletics Victoria Siobhan Thompson praised the athletes who competed in New Zealand saying, “Little Athletics creates pathways for children to grow both on and off the track.
