Nathalia 43 defeated Mulwala 16.
Coming into this week was always going to be a tight tussle with a few players out. Nat, Mikayla and Tayla all stepped up to help the Lions tackle the game.
The girls started strong but were out classed by a larger and stronger Nathalia.
Lara and Tayce upped the pressure and played a great defensive game whilst Tess once again showed nothing can hold her down.
The focus is now on finishing the season strong with the lead up to finals.

B Grade
Nathalia 34 defeated Mulwala 26.
It was a tough day on the court with the B Grade team missing 3 girls but was a chance to see the 17’s girls step up and help out.
It was a slow start for the Lions girls in the first quarter with numerous unforced errors occurring. The girls came out firing in the second half with great defence from Leah Charli and Chelsea.
The goals weren’t falling for Mulwala but they kept fighting till the end and it was a great team effort by all to get the margin back to 8.

C Grade
Nathalia 65 defeated Mulwala 13.
Awards: Garage Door Services- Reese Sanderson, Lake Mulwala Bakery – Charlie Hargreaves and The Publican’s Daughter Cafe - Addy Carr.
C Res
Nathalia 25 defeated by Mulwala 54.
What a fantastic game the C Res had against Nathalia with the help of 2 Under 15 girls.
The Lions had control from the first centre pass taking out Mulwala’s 3rd win this season.
What a fantastic team effort.
Under 17s
Nathalia 38 defeated Mulwala 29.
The girls came out firing in the first quarter with direct passes through the mid court and great goaling by Polly and Jess.
The defenders Reese Kealy and Miller fought hard with multiple turnovers.
A very competitive game with all girls giving 100% unfortunately Mulwala went down by 9 goals.

Under 15s
Nathalia 16 defeated by Mulwala 38.
The Lions were keen to get a win last week as the teams drew last time. The girls started strong and led all game.
Everyone played their role and worked hard as a team.
Ruby Spiteri worked hard all over the court bringing the ball down the court well and getting lots of intercepts.
Captain Milla was again a stand out and Myley was on fire in the goals moving well and accurate with her shooting.
Abbi again showed her versatility and determination on the court. The girls should be super proud of the win, it shows how much they have improved.

Under 13s
Nathalia 4 defeated by Mulwala 34.
Girls all played a great game with lots of position changes.
The girls adapted really well and showed they are an extremely diverse group of girls.
Players should be proud of their efforts.
Awards: Paradise Palms- Taylah Bigger, South of the Border Eatery- Emily Linehan and Mulwala Bakery- Roxy Cameron.
Under 11s
A competitive game against Nathalia. The girls worked hard to cover the court and move the ball all match.
The defensive and attacking teams worked well together but have some skills and strategies to practice for next week.
Great game girls.
