Mulwala 37 def by Rumbalara 40.
High intensity, fast paced game from the beginning. Girls played a brilliant team game and the defence end was dynamic.
The A Grade will continue to focus on their line and come out firing again next week.
Awards: Seeliger Real Estate - Tess McNamara, Lafluer Massage - Lara Langford.
B grade
Mulwala 53 def Rumbalara 26.
A solid win by the B Grade girls after a slow start. Injuries from last week saw the B Grade bring up Cara Wood from C grade, who played a solid game and teamed up well with Kristie in defence. Mikayla moved well in the ring, creating options for the feeders and once the nerves settled, was slotting plenty of goals.
Hollie McNamara again showed her experience and accuracy in GA, whilst the mid court played well displaying great passages of play.
Awards: Seeliger Real Estate - Mikayla Woosnam, Publicans Daughter -Hollie McNamara.
C grade
Mulwala 57 def Rumbalara 36.
The game started goal for goal making it a great one to watch. Mulwala went in to the second quarter up and about, with Brooke and Kat in the goal circle shooting accurately not missing much at all.
The mid court girls took a few bumps but also took the lead into the half time break.
With no changes made, the girls went out and played some amazing netball.
The game got physical but all girls held their ground and came away with a strong win.
Awards: Seeliger Real Estate - Tayla McNamara, Food Mill on Bayley - Brooke Bigger.

This week the Lions travelled to Rumbalara for what ended up being a very evenly matched game. The defence in the mid court was strong as always with Ruby continuously turning over the ball with great hands over pressure.
Charlotte and Abbi worked as a great duo in the ring with accurate shooting and strong rebounds. Alannah worked strong in GK with defence that gets better week by week.
Well done girls, enjoy the bye next week.
Awards: Zambreros - Abbi Ferguson, Food Mill on Bayley - Alannah, Lake Mulwala Bakery - Ruby Spiteri.

Mulwala 10 def by Rumbalara 40.
With the bright lights of the Rumba scoreboard, the girls took the court eager to start the game. Sour straps replaced the chips and gravy this week, giving the girls the sugar high they needed.
Next week the Lions need to fuel the team with both, as they ran out of steam.
A few nice passages of play, however Rumba were too strong in the end.
Awards: Zambreros - Claire Pearce, Paradise Palms - Milla Cox.
Under 11s
After a nervous start from the players, step-in coach and team manager, the Lions settled in very well.
Settled passes down the court and strong defence and shooting, shut a tall Rumbalara down. Amazing effort by all, great game girls!
Awards: Paradise Palms Rhianna Ewart, Zambrero Layla Dunlop.
