With the uncertainty of whether vote counts could go ahead in person, the Murray Football Netball League was finally able to host its night of nights at ClubMulwala on Sunday.

The Mulwala Football Netball Club had a number of winners as well as some close runners up with the efforts of all teams and players celebrated.
In the Seniors football O’Dwyer Medal, Mulwala’s senior best and fairest winner Jackson Gash had a stellar start to the year, polling in five best on grounds consecutively before polling another two votes in round 10, bringing his total to 17 votes for the shortened season.
Unfortunately, he was unable to claim back-to-back medals with Tongala’s Coby McCarthy claiming the O’Dwyer with 19 votes.
In the Under 17s a win was to come for the Lions with Mulwala’s Caleb Mitchell taking the top honour with 22 votes, six votes in front of Cobram’s Jack Beasley on 16 votes.
The Lions also picked up another award in the Under 17s with Jyda House claiming the Leading Goal Kicker award with 56 goals.
In the netball there was a runaway winner in the 15 and Unders with Lions Kaleisha Pell taking out the top honour with 27 votes in front of Tongala’s Abby Waasdorp on 21 votes.
