Mulwala seniors were very undermanned coming into this match against ladder leader Congupna.
From injury comes opportunity with several players standing up against great opposition, mostly Josh Eder who was brilliant across the half back line and Jackson Meade controlled the forward line most of the day.
Although it was a low-scoring contest where Mulwala still were seemingly in touch. At half time, Congupna burst out of the blocks in the second half and controlled the game from then on, piling on goals to run away with the strong win.

Injuries to key senior players meant the Mulwala reserves went into the match against Congupna, undermanned also.
In the first half Mulwala were in touch, due to the skilful forward craft Sean Robinson and Jake McKinnon and the defensive strengths Cathel Devereux.
In the middle Austin Fraeunfelder worked hard all game in the ruck and Charlie Drake was very strong controlling his wing all game.
Congupna ran away with the match in the second half as Mulwala battled the game out.

After a close loss to reigning premiers, Cobram last week Mulwala thirds were keen to make amends this week against Congupna.
The onball brigade were winning the ball out of the middle and Beau Sissons and Van Kreeck were running amok on their respective wings, pushing the ball forward on multiple occasions.
Regularly kicking goals themselves from outside fifty metres, marking with precision and skill.
Jai Sneddon and Rhys Burgess were controlling the back half of the ground and Congupna stood no chance against the prolific ball movement of the entire Mulwala team as they continued to score heavily throughout the match.

After a great showing but disappointing result last week, the coaches asked for fight this week.
Clearing out the forward 50 and asking for front and centres, Colin Lowry and Lachy Brown kept hitting the right spots feeding Big Richo and first gamer Taj Parker.
Both the of the boys kept the score ticking over with three goals each in the first quarter. Jackson Smith was everywhere and was well supported by Finn Wood and Byron Dodd through the midfield.
A great team effort with the boys sharing the ball like seasoned veterans.
A great bounce back from last week and now onto Deni.
