The game this week was harder than anticipated with the weather and head coach away. However as a team, the Hoppers were able to demonstrate their ability to come together and never drop their heads despite tough game play, and precision shooting.
This game showed strength in mixing up combinations and creating strong plays down the court into the goals.
The scribe would also really like to commend the girls on being aware of their own bodies and knowing when to step back to better the team, but also pushing through into new positions or applying instructions for set tasks to strengthen play and communication on the court.
Keep showing up to training and putting in the work and a game will go the Hopper way.

Stella effort by the girls on a very wet, slippery day. With a couple players out and a strong filled in Berrigan side the girls had to work extra hard and boy did they come out the gates strong with a 7-goal lead at quarter time.
Impressive defensive effort by Georgie Thomas and Emmi Brookes early set up the attacking end with lots of opportunities.
Soph shot amazingly in wet conditions with some beautiful passing from Haylee and Nada.
Young gun Steph worked her butt off all day and played a specific roll out of her comfort zone and showed just how resilient she is.
Thank you to Mikayla and Sheryl for filling in. Well done team!

The weather was not what the Hoppers wanted for a strong, fast and dominating game, however they were all for rising to the occasion.
The girls this week focused on hands over pressure which allowed for constant turnovers across the court.
This game also allowed for new combinations to flourish and old combinations to make a comeback and showcase their ability.
A massive team game and team effort by all. Keep pushing and striving to be better, because who knows where it will take the team.

This week the girls came up against Berrigan who are 2nd on the ladder. Along with the rain nerves were high but the 15s used them to their advantage. The girls came out firing in the first quarter showing they are a force to be reckoned with.
Heleena and Lucy were on fire in the defence end backed up by Abbey in WD.
All girls managed to turn the ball over multiple times throughout the game. Paired with the shooters Alani, Sophie and Mia who worked hard to get their shots in from everywhere in the goal ring.

The girls this week came up against the wet weather with a great attitude and didn't let it stop them from dominating this weeks game.
With many loose balls the girls were great in chasing them all and backing each other up for help. The girls were great in driving forward paired with strong passes resulted in a great win for the girls. Excellent win.
